Description from the creator

Descriptionhttp://wisdomgame.org -- to EDUCATE, ENTERTAIN, AND ENLIGHTEN—for many years I was a seriously funny performing poet. I only retired because of an excess of rotten tomatoes and sometimes ladies underwear so I’m extremely qualified to teach you how to get up on stage and present your important poetry, especially when no one’s listening or you stand there like a stone because you can’t remember anything. You have to be like a sweating joker. In fact, that’s the title of my book: The Sweating joker poems. If you have a kindle you can download it right here: kindle.amazon.com/work/sweating-joker-poems-ste… or subscribe to this channel and you’ll get to see me and you and a whole bunch of crazy poets plus other stuff.
There’s no need to be afraid or to be serious when you get up on stage to read your poems. No one’s really going to be listening anyway. Here’s the secret. Most people who go to poetry readings are poets. They have their heads up their arses anyway, and at any rate if they are going to perform they are quaking in their books and are not concerned with your poem. Performing poetry is cathartic. It’s good for you. An excellent exercise is to do it extemporaneously without anything in your mind. Very soon you’ll learn that nothing matters. If that sounds solipsistic, then you’re just an epistemological sophomore who is barely existential.
You can also click over to wisdomgame.com This is an interconnect game that is being developed for creative people who are tired of violence but understand life itself is a game. This first poem, The Sweating Joker, is about imagery and metaphor and the relationship of ideas to balls that are constantly in the air much like Magistrate Ludi’s the Glass Bead Game. Here, in this how-to video you learn not to be afraid of seeing yourself especially in your mind’s eye because Seth, Abraham, and David Icke have taught us we live in a holographic Universe and because of that shows you create your reality. Why not be educated, entertained, and enlightened. That’s the logo of Wisdomgame. You can click now at wisdomgame.org.
Thanks for watching. Please email me. [email protected]. The next poem in this series will teach you what humor is and isn’t and how you can use it in your performances. When you stop being so serious and the audience cracks up you’ll know you have balls . . . and for a word juggler that’s very important.
