How To Price Handmade Items

How to price handmade items to sell online, at craft fairs, in person or anywhere you like. This video will show you two formulas to help you sell handmade products.

This video is for jewellery designers, ring makers, wood workers, wood turners, blacksmiths and crafty folk in general. It's impossible to come up with one size fits all a pricing strategy for handmade items but here's my best advice.

No matter which formula you use just ensure that your products are priced fairly to you, your customer and the market in general!

Formula 1:
Material and supply cost + Labour + Overheads + 100% Profit + Selling fees + postage.

Formula 2:
Cost + Labour + Overheads x2 = Wholesale
Wholesale x2 = Retail
