Description from the creator

This video shows a time tested and safer way to hold the rope and have sufficient tension applied to the rope while pulling the tree in the desired direction by hand whether with one guy or more when felling a tree.
There are various ways to get this accomplished but here I explain the "3/4 tree tie in method" that increases the range of motion you are able to pull a tree in and gives you more control over directional felling.
Of course you will not be this close to a tree that is getting ready to be felled by hand when using a rope but you will be off in the distance and therefore be prepared to stand clear of the tree and plan an escape route in case the worse happens (The tree falls in a direction not originally planned) that way you are covered.
Roping limbs as opposed to pulling over a tree with rope by hand this same technique can be employed provided the limb or top is capable of being "man handled" as opposed to needing a more heavy duty form of lowering device such as a port-a-wrap, etc.
The only thing that you would do different is to simply hold your position as best you can when limb is swaying/swinging until it has reached a point for you to release the slack slowly to get the limb to the ground safely. Each case (limb) will be different depending on what is below or size, etc so use discretion or in other words common sense when either rigging or roping limbs by hand and pulling trees over by hand or using what I like to call good old fashion "man-power."
