In this Video I have tried to show you all how to open a Magsafe / MacBook Charger and fix it when the cable is either loose or has been broken inside. I know that my method of opening it is crude but that was all I had and was reasonably easy to open. If you are having difficulty using my method because the palm of you hand is getting hurt, you could also use a mallet to lightly hammer on the knife and pry open the charger.
