Description from the creator

While changing the battery bank we found that the inflatable dinghy was taking on water - it had been left hanging off the stern of CATMANTOO for some hours & water was just over the floor boards. Not dangerous, but a damn nuisance. Of course time to do a good job is lacking at Christmas.

First effort failed due to the glue being heat sensitive & temperatures into high 20s as well as sunshine onto the black PVC.

Better glue with the addition of a cross-linker (isocyanate think) solved the problem, but still water was getting into the dinghy. More leaks found mainly at the transom (could have been like that for a while as not usually left in the water, usually ashore or on the davits). Fixed again, fingers crossed.

Will need a new dinghy soon. An Alloy RIB would be easy, but as I like to row a well fendered solid dinghy may be an option - like octenders.com/
