Description from the creator

Thought I'd give a little knowledge to people needing to know how to change a thermocouple for a water heater and become more comfortable with their tank.
A thermocouple is a component on a water heater that when heated up by the pilot flame produces a small amount of DC voltage (millivolts) that holds down an internal plunger so the main gas can come on as needed- if it doesn't sense a proper flame it will release the plunger and not allow the main thru resulting in no hot water !
