Since I’ve been blogging for more than 7 years now, I figured I’ll share with you guys some basic tips on how you can start your own blog. I often get emails from my readers asking me if blogging is expensive and if it’s worth it. I say:
1. You don’t have to spend a lot to be able to start your own blog. When I started blogging, I used a small digicam and asked my parents ( and even my yaya) to take my photos. You don’t need an SLR/photographer, you just need to be passionate about the things you post. It takes time-- don't rush it.
2. It’s totally worth it. People who want to start a blog usually ask me how they can earn from it— I tell them they should start a blog not even thinking of how you can get sponsors, free trips, etc, but because they want to do it wholeheartedly.
