How to Study Abroad in High School When Broke // Rotary Youth Exchange

How do you study abroad in high school when you are broke? Maybe your parents don't want to pay for it, can't pay for it, or you need a way to convince them? So how can you afford to go on foreign exchange? Well, I'm just the GAL to answer that, as I also started with a good $0 to my name, with parents who were not totally on board with the idea.

This is how I was able to afford the $5000 Rotary Youth Exchange cost:
- Worked for 7 months
- Made $8.50/hr
- Worked on average 20- 25 hrs per week
- In total made about $5,500
- Received a partial scholarship of $1500 which I explain towards the end of the video

These are ideas I hope you can implement if this is something you dream of doing. I know I would have appreciated the same video when I was researching at 15-years-old.
