I think the general themes are Review and Repetition and Asking for Help. Review RIGHT after class and do not postpone. This will help you memorize your notes faster because you'll know exactly you wrote right after class. The other theme is Repetition. This is the core of studying...there are many ways you can try to speed up your repetition. For example, Ananya said she uses a study technique called "Spaced Repetition." This strategy is to ensure that you don't waste time studying things you already know. Lastly, go to your professors' office hours! Or talk to older college students who've taken the class before. This way, you'll know what to focus on and what to skip. It'll save you a lot of time.
