How To Build Sci Fi Production Prop Rifles

Lance Wolf (Concept Artist, Illustrator) presents an in-depth look at how to build low-cost production props. This video features the fabrication of the two production props for which Magnesium Bow is named. Through a time lapse presentation, you will see the Magnesium Bow-1 assault rifle and the Magnesium Longbow-2 long range tactical assault rifle fabrication process and weathering for these nonworking, camera ready props.
These life-sized production props were fabricated through the processes of scratch building and kitbashing and Nerf modding.

Production prop Magnesium Bow- 1 type 1 assault rifle measures 3” wide, 33”long and 20” tall.
Production prop Magnesium Longbow-2 type 2 long range tactical assault rifle measures 3” wide, 39”long and 21” tall.
