Description from the creator

Facial plastic surgeon Dr Edwin Williams describes his technique for administering local anesthetic before a rhinoplasty (bit.ly/williams-rhinoplasty). Local anesthetic is typically combined with epinephrine to minimize bleeding.

By administering local injection in the right place and amount, an essentially bloodless surgical field can be accomplished without altering the appearance of the nose. This allows the surgeon to work in a clean surgical field without compromising their ability to assess the shape of their patient's nose.

Dr. Williams is a rhinoplasty specialist and expert in the closed approach to rhinoplasty. He has had over 25 years experience performing closed (endonasal) rhinoplasty and over the past many years has lectured about his techniques at national and international rhinoplasty conferences.
