HOW TO CROCHET | THE ARCADE STITCH

This stitch is SO freaking awesome. I've seen it many times but never tried it myself, I'm amazed at the really neat sides and symmetry. Will be making a few things using this stitch I think!

For this tutorial I'm using Caron Simply Soft in the colour Green (9779) available here bit.ly/2cxc5a3 with a 5mm hook (which I don't think are readily available anymore but try Ebay, a couple of people I've told to try Ebay in the past have got lucky :) and the stitch pattern I'm following is from Betty Barnden's (I love her) Handbook of Crochet Stitch Designs amzn.to/2dn5Rvl
