How to Handle HARSH Criticism

Looking back at this video which I just edited, it kinda sounds like I am speaking from a place of authority. Criticism is something which is hard for any creative to deal with, including me! I first wrote this video to help myself to handle criticism in my own life and then I decided that it might be helpful to share this with other people.

I also didn't mention anything about haters. I think there is plenty of advice and help out there about identifying and ignoring haters. Trolls and Haters generally will attack your work because of a personal problem they themselves have - they are trying to take out their own personal problems on you, weather it is jealousy, humiliation, frustration. With them, you need to build a thick skin and ignore them - the hardest part is to walk away without replying to them.

This video is not about dealing with them, it assumes that the harsh criticism is coming from someone who does have your interests at heart and is delivering tough feedback in the hopes that you will make better artwork.
