How to prevent flexo sleeves from swelling?

Sleeve swelling is another common problem in the flexographic industry. Sleeve swelling is caused by ink that enters the core of the sleeve from the edges. This not only affects your print quality, but you also have to incur the cost of replacing the sleeve frequently.

You can prevent sleeve swelling by sealing the ends of your printing sleeve. At Tech Sleeves, we use Vinyl-ester epoxy resin for sealing the ends, which has excellent chemical resistant properties to prevent the sleeve from soaking the ink/solvents.

Sealed ends thus provides extra protection for your printing sleeve.
