In this video I show you how to send text messages from your computer for free using gmail. In order to do this you need a gmail account to start. Then you want to go into your settings and on the top click on LABS. Then scroll down until you see SMS (text messaging) in Chat and enable that. Also enable SMS in Chat gadget. Then go back to your gmail home screen. Now in the lower left hand corner you can type in the number, or contact you'd like to text and text them. It's free easy, and works quickly.
