In this video we learn how to use /attribute in Minecraft 1.16+ Snapshot 20w17a. For the first time ever, we can change player data with commands! This is going to make it possible to do so many amazing things in Java Edition. I will be using this command in my Minecraft RPG Datapacks, which will be released slowly beginning May 2020! Here are some example commands you can use to play around with /attribute and learn how to use UUID modifiers as well!

/attribute @s minecraft:generic.max_health base set 1000.0
/attribute @s minecraft:generic.max_health base set 1.0
/attribute @s minecraft:generic.max_health base set 10.0
/attribute @s minecraft:generic.armor base set 90.0
/attribute @s minecraft:generic.armor base set 0.0
/attribute @s minecraft:generic.attack_damage base set 1.0
/attribute @s minecraft:generic.attack_damage base set 10000.0
/attribute @a[scores={lvl=1}] minecraft:generic.max_health base set 10.0
/attribute @a[scores={lvl=2}] minecraft:generic.max_health base set 20.0
/attribute @a[scores={lvl=3}] minecraft:generic.max_health base set 30.0
/attribute @s minecraft:armor modifier add 4fd539a4-fb89-45d9-8c6a-d07da532a501 cz_armor 3.0 add
