How to: Abhorrent Beast Lower Loran Layer 2 Lv100

Quick battle with a thundercat. Hooooooooo!

I've included two clips prior to the actual battle that show some things not to do. Those clips serve the purpose of visually explaining some of his mechanics and punishes for getting to greedy or not being swift enough. 

The third and last is my actual attempt and only utilizes a few Blood Vial uses (1 of them showing you a mechanic where I'll explain in the tips section)


Tips for the fight:

-Bait his three-pronged attack and jump attack after it's finished.

-After you land the first Visceral, he will finish his combo with a ground pound. This doesn't change the jump attack counter.

-Once his health hits a certain threshold he will stop his slam finisher and just swipe. This is where I used the BMA to secure the kill but I did show an opportunity to attack him if you are without.

-DO NOT HEAL unless he is mid attack animation. Doing so causes his AI to rush you. Instead, bait a combo or heal when he does a roar. I got hit on purpose and got distance during a combo to show when to heal.

-From testing, I've seen that he only does his lightning aoe following the uppercut attack and only if you're within his sight lines. Dodge the uppercut to get behind him and he'll back swipe instead.

-You can avoid his whirlwind punch if you stay within swiping range and exploit him into doing a back swipe.
