In this video, I'll show you how to capture a flee in animal crossing new Horizons. To capture a flee you need to hit a character on the head with the net.
You can also see that it sais "Itchy", which is another BIG HINT, which I actually missed but suggests a flee is on Jacob.
There is a subtle sound, very short animation and you should see the character's animation or what it says when you talk to it, any one of those can suggest that a flee might infect that resident.
In my case, I heard a noise and I saw a little black dot moving fast and that suggested that a flee is in the area.
