How To Clone Pokemon in Pokemon X/Y (DIFFERENT WAY)

Cloning method explanation below:
This is a different way than the most common way I've seen, which is turning off the DS recieving the pokemon you want to get rid of off after 4.5 seconds and waiting for a black error message. That method hasn't been working lately for me, even when I do it perfectly, so this is a method I saw from a video which has now been deleted for some unknown reason. This method doesn't ALWAYS work, but I find it having a higher success rate for me than the other way. As long as you time it right, you will usually succeed.
Anyway, this is how you do it: from the 3DS that has the throw-away pokemon, ask the 3DS that has the pokemon you want to clone to trade. Then offer and trade from both 3DSes at the same time. As soon as the blue screen comes on on the 3DS recieving the throw-away pokemon, use a timer to count 3 seconds and turn it off (try to do it as soon as it becomes 3 seconds or only a LITTLE bit before. It won't work if it's too early (before 3 seconds) or too late (too long after 3 seconds), but you have a better chance if it's a little later than 3 seconds since I've seen it work this way at about 4 seconds. So I'd say around 3.5 seconds or a little earlier is fine. Exactly after you turn off the first console, wait 3 seconds or a little LESS than 3 seconds, like 2.7 seconds, and turn the other console (recieving the pokemon you want cloned) off. Then return both consoles to the Home screen and back to the game and see if it worked. GOOD LUCK! HOPE I HELPED! Leave any questions in the comments.
