How To Defeat Electro Variant 4 Chapter 1 | MCOC

Electro in Variant 4 Chapter 1 is one of the more annoying fights, in fact the first two bosses in this new variant seem to be the worse with Deadpool X-Force also causing troubles. This video is on how to defeat Electro in Chapter 1 of Variant 4 so I hope that these tips help you out.

First you need to know about Electro and the node itself.

1. Electro is stun immune so parrying is not going to work.
2. Electro hits very hard so you can bait out heavy for a while but not long. Also, if you get hit by him you are going to take some serious damage.
3. Electro has some crazy power gain, very easy to push him to power level 1 and 2 and hopefully not 3.
4. The node itself is a pain. Any contact hit against Electro places a degeneration debuff on you and they are stackable so the more you hit the more health you start to lose.

So how do you beat Electro?

1. You champs that have non contacts hits as one of their abilities such as Domino and her gunshot, Elsa Bloodstone, Iron Man Infinity War, Omega Red I believe. The reason why champs with non contact hits are important is because every time you use a non contact hit you will clear all the degeneration debuffs on you. So as you can see in this video I just focused on using Domino's gunshot hit as it is non contact. Yes I still take some degeneration damage at times but the non contact type attacks help clear the debuffs out making my health last longer.

2. If you do not have any champs that have non contact hits in their basic hits they you can also clear the degeneration debuffs out with special attacks if the special attack is non contact. For instance the blast from Cyclops Special 1 is non contact as it is a beam and he is not actually using part of his body to hit Electro. This will also work.

3. I had some luck with Sentinel as well, since Electro is constantly throwing specials it allowed me to get to 100 charges faster which helps in resisting damage.

4. I hear Namor is a beast in this fight, high signature Namor I presume because of his ability to reverse unavoidable damage, I do not have him so I can't be 100% sure.

The actual fight I just focused on baiting out his special 1 attack. I often do not do full combos as that will push him to special 2 which I prefer not to evade, find it more tricky. If you are going to use a special attack make sure to only do so when Electro is low in power you do not want to push him to special 2 or 3, though some people feel fine at evading the special 2 I will leave that up to you.
