You can clear all your history on youtube or if you want to delete individual searches on youtube, you can select the X by the search term and delete it permanently.

When you go to youtube com and sign into your profile in the upper right hand side of screen. Scroll to the far left side of the screen where you will see three horizontal lines. Select these lines and a side menu will open up. Now go down to history and select that option.
