Description from the creator

I need to know how to fix Xbox One achievements.

First you have to have some accomplishments.

I do, or rather I did, but I do not see them now.

Make sure you are logged in as you. You may be logged into a loser’s profile and thus not see your accomplishments.

I’m logged in as me, on my machine.

If you get error 0x87c40011, an achievement bug, you can fix it by switching the background art to a solid color in you’re my Xbox tag of settings, then open the achievement app.

*hat’s quite an achievement that someone figured that out, but that’s not the error I’m getting. My achievements either won’t load or won’t all show.

Remember that when you complete all the achievements in a game at release and they put out new levels and achievements or add expansion packs, your percentage goes down.

These are games that have not really changed, bar any system updates.

If in doubt, reboot. Hold down the power button until it is totally off, let it stay off for ten seconds, then turn it back on.

What else can I try?

Leave the Xbox One connected to the internet, stop playing and let the device save the game automatically. Once they sync, that may fix the achievements.

The achievements are not in the saved sessions, but my current one.

You may be earning the achievements but the screen has not updated yet. Try earning the next achievement and see if that forces the screen to update to show the newest one and the achievements it is not showing now.

Frankly, if I’m going to waste time, I’d rather reboot the box. At least then I know I won’t be playing even further for something that may not get saved.

You can go to my games and apps on the home screen, select manage game, go to saved data and delete the game on the console. The next time you retrieve the game from the cloud, it will have all the achievements saved in the cloud version.

Then I definitely lose the latest and greatest.

If you’re getting the error that we cannot save additional info, you may not see the accomplishments because it cannot save your latest and greatest to the cloud. Delete some old games so it can save, and then update to show the achievements.

My device seems to be taking a long time to sync with the cloud.

You can pick to save the data for the current session instead of trying to save the last info, and then it shows the latest achievement. Or you could tell your roommate to stop streaming Netflix so your console has the bandwidth to sync.

That definitely breaks the sync with my roommate.

Then keep achievements snapped to the screen so you do not lose them again.
