How to get the Alani mount (6.1.2)

Hello guys. This is my first real attempt on making a youtube video, so bear that in mind.

The content isn't outdated, but i know guides like this one have been on youtube for a while, and therefore it problably won't be of any use.
Enough of that.

This is a guide on how to obtain The Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent. A mount dropped by Alani the Stormborn. He (don't know if its a she) flyes around in the Vale of Eternal Blossom and is unattackable due to a buff he has.
In order to get rid of the buff you'll have to gather 10 Skyshards from mobs in the vale.
Once you have gathered 10 skyshards, you can fuse them into a Sky Crystal. This crystal can be used on Alani to break the buff and pull Alani towards you.
Once he is near you, you will simply have to kill him to obtain the mount.
It's a 100% drop chance, however, you need to be exalted with both The August Celestials and The Order of the Cloud Serpent.

If you die while you encounter Alani, he will respawn with the buff, and you wont get your sky crystal back - that means you have to gather 10 more shards.
