The Witcher 3 how to get the best sword in the game (Aerondight Silver Sword). The Witcher 3 Aerondight Guide / Walkthrough, how to get the best sword in the Witcher 3.

The best most powerful sword in the entire game of the Witcher 3 is the Aerondight. The Aerondight is a late game Silver Sword classified under the Relic category, it possesses a very powerful perk that allows its damage to be permanently increased every time Geralt levels himself, all the way up to Geralt’s maximum level cap of 100. This perk alone ultimately makes the Aerondight the most powerful weapon available in the entire game.

This walkthrough will guide you step by step detailing everything you need to know and do, to unlock this fabled relic. The mandatory quest relating to gaining access to the Aerondight is named: ‘There Can Be Only One’, and this quest is exclusive to the Blood & Wine expansion, hence the Aerondight will not be available without access to Toussaint.

This quest requires you to complete certain quests meeting specific conditions to prove your worth in five Chivalric Virtues: COMPASSION, HONOR, GENEROSITY, VALOR, and WISOM before the Aerondight can be yours. All these quests and required conditions are fully detailed in the video.

A detailed explanation is also given toward the end of the video regarding the mechanics of the Aerondight’s perk, so to get the very best out of the sword, make sure to watch until the end.
