Description from the creator

Important: This tutorial is for people who have java and Winrar yet could not open it, does not work if you do not have java! Should work for all versions of Optifine.

Make sure you have previously opened that version of Minecraft for it to work. EG: I opened 11.2 on Minecraft, then installed optifine 11.2, I've never played Minecraft 10.8 so i would have to just create a new profile, play with that version, then I can install it.

I hope this helped, I will answer questions if any.
