Description from the creator

NOTE: 64bit linux distributions must install 32bit libraries to use 32bit programs on a 64bit systems, in ubuntu and debian systems this is the "ia32-libs" package from the package manager or ubuntu software center.
-----------------------------
In this video HikariKnight shows us how to install the Oracle Java Plugin on Linux for use in web browsers (in this case 32bit browsers) but the installation is identical.

We recommend using 32bit java even on 64bit systems, this is because the 32bit java is optimized for heavy graphical applications like runescape. (however you will need to apply the fix from youtube.com/watch?v=NRhR3o7TFEw if you intend to use java7 in the browser and not the client)
