HOW TO INSTALL PHANTASY STAR ONLINE 2 WITH THE ENGLISH PATCH (Japan Server)

::PC INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (includes English Patch)::
1. Download the Setup File from arks-layer.com/
2. If you're confused about how to install, read through instructions here bit.ly/3bvT5Zx
3. Start installing PSO2 using the Tweaker.
4. Setup your Sega ID (don't forget to translate the page) bit.ly/2HgBFC1
5. Follow the instructions until Sega asks for a Capcha in Japanese.
6. Use the pen tool in Google Translate to draw the Japanese text translate.google.com/
7. Enjoy the game! Be sure you join Ship 2 since it has the most English players.

::CONSOLE INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (does not include English Patch)::
1. Create a new account on PS4 / Xbox One / Nintendo Switch that is a Japanese account.
2. This should allow you to download Japanese Games, so search for Phantasy Star Online 2 / PSO2 in the store.
3. PSO2 is completely free to play, so you should be able to install without issue.
4. Once installed, log out of your Japanese account and log back in to your main account.
5. You now have the Japanese version of PSO2 on your console and should be able to launch it.
6. In the event that you need a Sega ID from the Japanese website, refer to PC step 4 above.

✏️ A quick tutorial explaining how to download and install Phantasy Star Online 2 and play it right now on the Japanese servers with the fan made English Patch. Keep in mind that the English Patch does NOT support console players, so if you plan to play Phantasy Star Online 2 on the Xbox One, PS4 or Nintendo Switch, the entire game will be Japanese. The English Patch for PSO2 is exclusive to PC players, but PSO2 is entirely crossplay, so you can still play with your friends on consoles.
In this tutorial I'll also include some quick tips for getting started in Phantasy Star Online 2, like which Ship / server you should play on as an English Player, how to change your block / lobby and how to add friends.
