How to Keep Ants Away DIY Life Hack

This video is a DIY Life Hack to keep ants away from your rubbish bin or trash cans by using simple & cheap methods without killing the ants.

Ants basically follow the smell of scouting ants to the source of food, and back to their nest to store their food.

So by researching online, I found out that a couple of everyday products can prevent the ants from reaching the rubbish bins no matter what.

You can use white vinegar, baking soda/powder, soapy liquid and or baby powder.

It's possible to use just one of the above and it will work but I am hoping to just get rid of the problem once and for all...hence using everything I can find.

DO NOTE that mixing baking soda/powder with vinegar will create a acidic reaction that will KILL the ants that crossed the path...and will affect your hands.

SO DO WASH YOUR HANDS IMMEDIATELY after mixing the stuff and DO NOT TOUCH your eyes with the mixture!

Alternatively you can mix it with a spoon instead of using your fingers.
