This is a short video on what to do and what not to do if you want your ping as low as possible. 20ms is ideal and above 50ms delay may be noticable.

Pings above 100ms are really bad for competitive gaming.

Tethods include: Disabling of malware and downloads, not using wiresell, but glass fiber cable, stopping all download and other traffic and changing ISP or using VPNs.

Works for PC mostly but applicable to consoles and mobile devices as well.
