I just wanted to give a quick video on how you can easily and quickly make decent barriers for use in dart wars and airsoft battles.

These half-height barriers are good enough for quick cover to duck behind and cost next to nothing to make if you simply ask around and find businesses locally that are looking to get rid of used pallets.

I got the pallets from the hydraulic supply and repair shop that I'm a sales rep for, and there are many other sorts of businesses that typically have stacks of pallets they have to dispose of. A savvy person can put a set of 10 or so of these together for nothing more than a hour or two of their own time (including the painting and re-coating in that).
