How to Make Chocolate Popcorn from Stardew Valley - Real-life Stardew Valley Recipes

What you need:

Popcorn:
1/4 cup popcorn kernels
1 TBL butter flavored shortening
1/2 tsp salt

Chocolate caramel coating:
4 TBL butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 TBL dark corn syrup
3 TBL dutch process cocoa
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

No stick spray, as needed

Spray a large bowl with no-stick spray. Place your 6 cups of popcorn in the large bowl. Line a small sheet pan with no stick spray, and line with parchment. Spray the parchment with no stick spray.

Place butter in a small pot and melt over medium heat. Add sugar, corn syrup, cocoa, and vanilla. Heat syrup until 250 degrees and pour over your popcorn.

Quickly but carefully fold the syrup into the popcorn. Mix thoroughly. Add popcorn to prepared sheet and cook in a 250 degree oven for about 45 minutes.

Cool completely and serve in little buckets. Keep leftovers in an airtight container.
