Description from the creator

Couple of methods to help open your NAT type. :) Here's my written description.
Port Triggering - Netgear

BEFORE YOU START: I've found that sometimes when trying to enter the 3074 rule when triggering or forwarding, you may get a conflict error, saying that the port is already being forwarded or something. I can't find that entry anywhere, I'm guessing that there's some UPNP that's trying to open the ports. If you reset your router and run the initial setup wizard again, it should work. If you do this, be prepared to redo your wireless devices too, and be sure to set up your wireless security again.

(used***** for this guide):No need for a static IP address using this method. Very easy:

--open your internet browser and type 192.168.1.1 into the browser. That should bring up the login for your Netgear router. Type admin for user name, and password should be "password". If password isn't the password, try "admin" or try leaving it blank.

--Go to port forwarding/port triggering ---- This is what worked for me/ make sure THERE IS NO STATIC IP, Make it automatic.

--With Port Forwarding selected, delete any rules with 88 or 3074

--With Port Triggering Selected, delete any rules with 88 or 3074

--Select port triggering. You will make 2 new rules. Click Add service. Fill in the following:

Service
Service Name: Xbox 1
Service User: Any
Service Type UDP
Triggering port 88

Required inbound Connection
Connection Type: TCP/UDP
Starting Port: 88
Ending Port: 88
Click Apply

********************

Service
Service Name: Xbox 2
Service User: Any
Service Type TCP
Triggering port 3074

Required inbound Connection
Connection Type: TCP/UDP
Starting Port: 3074
Ending Port: 3074
Click Apply

--Now turn the power off of your 360 and your router (unplug the power to the router), wait 20 seconds and plug the power back in the router. Let it connect, then turn on your 360. Do a test, it should say open. Now do the real test and connect to some games, you should get in any game that isn't full.
