The object of the Alternations Solitaire game is to build the 8 foundation piles up in suit from ace to king. The tableau piles are built down by alternating colors. A group of cards in correct sequence can be moved to another tableau pile. Empty tableau spaces can be filled by any card or sequence of cards. The top card of the waste pile can be moved to a foundation pile or to a tableau pile.
