How to play Scrabble

Scrabble - The crossword game
The objective of the game is to create words to score points and have the highest total at the end of the game.
The main strategy is to play words that have the highest possible score based on the combination of letters. It requires a scrabble game board, 100 letter tiles, and tile racks. Place all letter tiles in a letter bag and each player picks one. The player with the closest letter to A goes first. Each player picks 7 tiles to play.
Out of 100 tiles, 98 of them will contain letters and point values. 2 blank tiles can be used as wild tiles which can take the place of any letter. Players build off at least one tile in each other's words until no one can build any more words. The player with the highest score wins.
The game ends when all the letters have been drawn and one player uses their last letter, or when all possible plays have been made.
Types of words that are not allowed:
- Words that are always capitalized
- Abbreviations
- Prefixes and suffixes standing alone
- Words requiring a hyphen or an apostrophe
- Any unreal or incomplete English word

Scrabble is invented in the 1930s but did not achieve widespread popularity until the early 1950s when, according to legend, the president of Macy's played the game on vacation, and then ordered it for his store.
