How to practice crowning witches in Left 4 Dead 2. Setup the perfect Witch hunting environment!

These instructions should give you a clear path to becoming an expert witch hunter. You'll never have to worry again about scaring or bypassing witches, so long as you have a shotgun.

First step is to enable the console, then type in the following three console commands:

bind p "z_spawn witch"

bind l "give autoshotgun"

map c5m2_park

When the map loads, type in three more commands:

sv_cheats 1

director_stop

give pipe_bomb

Open the door, toss the pipe to clear any zombies, then we can really get to work.

Press "L" to give yourself the Tier 2 shotgun, then use "P" to spawn a witch. The trick is to let her walk into you and get herself startled. When she leans into you, blast her. One clean shot, at any difficulty, will put her down. Two shots also works if you have a Tier 1 shotgun. If the witch is chasing you, a well-timed Tier Two shotgun can take her out as well. Finally, if you want to practice on sitting witches, I recommend the fairgrounds in Dark Carnival (map c2m2_fairgrounds). Also, I recommend kicking your bot teammates so they don't get in the way. Use the command KICK ROCHELLE; KICK ELLIS; KICK COACH to kick them all.
