Description from the creator

NOTE: You can only fill Black Soul Gems and The Black Star with human souls. This includes Argonians, Khajiits and Orcs. For all other soul gems (petty, lesser, common, greater, grand and Azura's Star) you can only soul trap animals/monsters/beasts.

Check out this link to see what souls can go into what gems - uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Souls

A couple people asked me to make this tutorial. I originally wasn't going to make it and instead referred links on how to do it, but since my family was out for most of the day (school/work) and it was raining outside, I decided to make it anyway for anyone else wondering on how to do it.
