The Sims 4 Tutorial: How to make a Face Paint

Hello and welcome to BakieGaming.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to make a Face Paint. We're going to make a very ugly and simple one, but this way you can learn the technique. You can also use this technique for making other kinds of make-up.
I will show you step by step how to use The Sims 4 Studio in combination with Phtoshop to make this kind of mod. I will also show you how it eventually will look in game.

• What to do when using PNG files instead of DDS:
In Studio export the Face Mask texture as PNG file instead of DDS.
At 4.16 after scrolling out, delete all layers except for the ones on which you painted the new mask.
So probably you will have to delete the last 2 layers: The skin layer and the background layer.
There is no need to merge layers, but if you do, click on one of the layers and choose "merge visible".
Be sure to NOT use "Flatten Image" as that won't work the right way in this case.

After that, go to file, save as and choose for format PNG instead of DDS.

• The Sims 4 Base Game
• Photoshop or Gimp ( In this tutorial I'm using Photoshop)
