The Stagger Effect (Part 1 Tutorial) - Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Unfortunately, I feel that the game doesn’t do a very good job of describing how to complete this challenge so I’ve created a video demonstration of what I did to complete the challenge and below is a step by step tutorial.

Step 1: Stagger an enemy - Fat Chocobo is one of the best to stagger if you want to complete this challenge as his stagger gauge goes down slowly therefore you’ll be able to fill your ATB gauge quite a lot in one stagger.

Step 2: When an enemy is staggered, drain your ATB gauge then use your Triangle ability. With Cloud, this would be his ‘Punisher Mode’, then start hitting the enemy as normal to raise the ATB gauge. This is best done with Cloud as it will raise the ATB gauge quite quickly. If the ATB gauge is full, use an item, ability or spell to decrease the ATB gauge then repeat step 2 until the challenge is completed!

The game calls the ‘Triangle’ ability the character’s ‘unique ability’ but that can get confusing with others such as Braver or Triple Slash as they’re unique to characters but it’s the triangle ability you need to use in order to complete the challenge.
