Autumn is such a beautiful time of the year. The holidays are right around the corner, the air is getting cooler and the leaves are changing. The colors are absolutely gorgeous this time of year which makes it so fun to make Fall and Autumn themed cards to showcase the beautiful colors. And one of the best ways to showcase these beautiful colors is with an accordion fold card.

In this fun fold card tutorial, you will learn how to make an accordion card featuring the products from the Stampin’ Up! Country Lane suite. Now there are several different types of accordion fold cards you can make but this one is a bit unique. It involves a fancy fold card that, when open, measures 12 inches long! And when you close the card and fold up the pleats you have a regular 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 inch card size. Pretty cool right?

Plus, this simple fun fold card idea doesn’t require the use of die cuts such as thinlits or framelits. Yes, an accordion card tutorial without using dies! Wahoo! So that means you do not need any special equipment!

By the end of this video you will have a beautiful greeting card idea for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. But don’t just limit yourself to Thanksgiving cards. You can create cards for any occasion with this simple fun fold card idea. Get creative with it!
