Craft Life Knitted Hat with Brim ~ Santa Hat tutorial on One Rainbow Loom or Two or a Knitting Loom ~ Copyright © 2014 Craft Life. All rights reserved. This tutorial will teach you how to knit a hat with a brim on one Rainbow Loom or two. You will need one Rainbow Loom if you are making a hat for a baby, teddy bear or doll and you will need two Rainbow Looms if you are making a hat for a toddler, child, teen or adult. Please be very careful if you use a Rainbow Loom to make this hat. Do not wrap the brim rows tight (especially your last brim row) or you won't be able to bring your bottom rows over the top and Jacy doesn't want you to break your loom. Jacy recommends that you use a knitting loom to make this Santa hat. Jacy also recommends that you use a thick yarn to make your hat or double up thin yarn when knitting. She used Lion Brand Yarn, Hometown USA, Super Bulky 6 and she purchased it at AC Moore but you can purchase it at any craft store and Walmart. You can make your hat any color you would like and you can make it with as many colors as you would like. You can also make your hat all one color and you can make it with or without a pom pom. You can also make it with more or less rows. It's your hat so you can make it however you want.
