Material:
- 6mm 3 Ply Rope (Colour: Natural)

Hey guys! I have a fun, new knot for you today - I am not sure what this knot is called but I remember making this knot as a kid when I used to make friendship bracelets. If anyone knows the name of this knot please let me know in the comments! I haven’t seen this knot used a lot in macrame but I think it would be a great one to incorporate into a wall hanging! I really like the look of the back of this knot as well so feel free to add it as you see fit to your projects! Let’s get started.

Set up - cut 2 pieces of 6mm rope, each piece is 2 meters long. Fold each piece in half and attach to your dowel using Lark’s Head knots. Note that this knot is similar to the square knot in that you will use the outer cords as your working cords and the inner cords as your filler cords. If you want to create a longer piece using this knot you will have to add additional length to the outer cords.

Fold the left cord in half, bring the right cord in front of it, around to the back of all 3 cords and then through the loop. Repeat that process until you’ve created a sinnet of knots of your desired length.

Here’s what it looks like from the back.

Thanks for watching!
