Here is a tutorial on how to create a really great binder alternative out of duct tape. This is my favorite duct tape school supply! It holds a vertical ringed notebook (that can be exchanged when you run out of paper), acts as a folder and holds your pen. Great for keeping your load light, isn't as bulky as a binder, and left-hand friendly.
