In this video I explain the process of how to alloy white gold. The process starts with the math equation to determine the purity of the gold alloy you want to produce. The gold and alloy metals are them weighed in the correct proportions. The alloy metals used to produce this white gold mixture are Palladium and fine silver. The melting process then shows how to melt white gold alloy in a ceramic crucible. This is a two step process that ensure even mixing of the gold and alloying metals to produce white gold that has good properties of surface hardness, malleability and ductility.
