How To Apply BB Cream Evenly (With Brush)

While BB cream is not necessarily new, there has been a recent surge of the formulation hitting the makeup counter. It’s left everyone considering what BB cream is and how to use it.

BB cream provides a myriad of skin benefits like SPF protection, antioxidants, hydration, and more. The cream is lighter than your typical foundation but heavier than a tinted moisturizer—making it the perfect in-between solution if you’re looking for coverage.

If you want to get a natural but still beautiful glow that will cover any discolorations or blemishes, then the BB cream is the right base for you.

To being applying BB cream, you will need the following tools:

• Foundation brush
• BB cream in your shade

Let’s get started.

Step 1: Moisturise

To get a beautiful glow and avoid dry patches, moisturise your skin beforehand and allow time for it soak into your skin. You should be using a moisturizer that best fits your skin type (normal, oily, dry, or combination.)

Step 2: Apply the BB Cream to the Brush

Apply some of the BB cream on the back of your hand and dip the foundation brush into it. Ensure you do not have too much of the cream on your brush so it’s easier to apply.

Step 3: Apply BB Cream to Your Face

Now, it’s time to apply the BB cream to your face. Using the brush, begin evenly spreading the BB cream over your forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin.

Step 4: Blend

Use circular motions and blend the BB cream into the skin until you have even coverage. The foundation brush is mess-free and gives a lightweight/natural finish to your complexion.
Continue blending until you achieve the desired finish. Ensure you did not miss any areas or have harsh lines, but if you do, continue blending.

That’s it! By only using a brush and BB cream, you’re now ready to start your day in the sunshine with a beautiful and natural finish.
