Description from the creator

If you have a diamond face shape, you must know that your cheeks are the widest part of your face, which means you can’t miss them or fail to see them! It is so easy to apply blush on this face type. It’s more about finding the right color that will suit your skin tone. And this is what you will learn in today’s video.

Step 1: Choose the right blush finish and formula

First, decide if you want to go with a matte or shimmery effect and choose between powder or cream.

How do I know what color to pick?

Pinch your cheeks and see what color they turn into, that’s the shade you want to pick as a blush to get a natural finish.

How do I know what formula to use?

If you have dry, normal or combination skin, then stick to cream products. When you are done applying the cream blush, don’t forget to set your face before moving on to the powder products.

If you choose to go with powder — which is good for normal, combination and oily skin types — don’t forget to set your face before applying more powder products.

The tools you will need for a proper blush application:

- A blush brush
- A blush of your choice

Powder Blush application

Tip: When digging into the powder blush with the blush brush, always tap of the excess so that the brush isn’t overloaded with product. This will also make it easier to apply and blend.

Now, start smiling so that the apples of your cheeks are noticeable and start applying the blush to the apples of your cheeks, blending it down and a little bit towards the hairline. Be careful, don’t overdo it near the hairline, as we want a natural finish.

That’s how easily you can apply blush on a diamond face shape.

Cream Blush Application

Start smiling so that the apples of your cheeks become noticeable. Now, start applying the cream blush with your fingers bit by bit to the apples of your cheeks. Then slowly blend it down and a little bit towards the hairline.

Cream blush, once applied with clean fingers, will give you the best and most natural finish.
