This method I have already tried by myself many time to apply for EIN from IRS.
Before I use calling to IRS for apply for EIN but the there are some communication problem. After that, I tried by using fax, I find out that is good for me because I have the problem with apply by online process.
Importantly, now IRS has new rule
irs.gov/businesses/small-businesses-self-employ…
for responsible party that make more difficult for 3rd party or agent apply EIN on behalf of somebody else. I recommend you to use your own name for the EIN application.

Anyway, I still preserve the right for disclaim this method in case of IRS change the rules and regulation in the future.
