How to approach a guy

Approaching a guy should be easy. You just go up to him and say what up sexy, I see you in your little sweat pants. Are your legs tired cause you been running through my mind all day. I’m saying... let me get you number though.

This video is for the brave hearts among us. Clearly not for everyone. But For those who keep asking Here’s you guide to approaching guys.

Think about this...
When a guy approaches you nervous and shy he makes you feel superior to him. You immediately have the leverage
in the relationship because you already know he feels lucky if he gets your number. When a man approaches you calmly and confidently he makes you curious. You wonder if his interest is genuine. Why is so confident. He must have a reason to be. Will he call? You hope he’ll call. Even though he took the chance getting your number you don’t feel like you have any leverage unless he first calls you and then continues to call you! In the event a guy doesn’t call you I get an email asking why hasn’t he called me. Why do guys get your get your number if they’re not going to call? Understand that this goes both ways. Confidence helps to maintain leverage no matter who who makes first contact.

Approaching a guy isn’t the same as a guy approaching you though. It’s not about getting his number or asking him out. It’s about presenting yourself as someone who’s potentially interested and available to get to know. As a woman who may be open to his advance, if he decides to make one. It’s not a display of or proclamation of attraction. It’s like the help wanted sign in a businesses window. It tells him there’s a position that needs to be filled, and applications are being taken. Your willingness to approach him and speak first says he’s welcomed to apply. It’s like fishing. You don’t just jump in the water and try to grab a fish. It’ll scare em all away. You bait a hook. Hungry fish think they’ve hunted you and not the other way around.

This is not to be confused with pursuing.
Approaching is different from pursuing in the following way. In pursuing there are many requests being made and permissions being granted. Things like may I, can I, could we, do you mind, would it be possible are asked by the attracted party. It’s an attempt at persuasion. Those receiving the requests assume power and leverage. Most men cannot be trusted with tis type of power and leverage so don’t give it to them. To be safe never make requests when you approach a guy. In approaching there’s an introduction, an exchange and then an exit. That’s the structure. You’re not attempting to persuade a man when you approach him. You’re giving him the opportunity to persuade you.
