Today we're talking about how to ask a girl out in college. The reason why I'm doing a video like this is because the college world is a lot different from the real world.

If you've been to college before, you already get what I'm saying. Things are different. People are partying overnight. Some people aren't even going to class. it's like this really long vacation. There's a lot of different things going on and a whole different mentality. Not like the real world where you have responsibilities and jobs.

It's also different because the women in college are not used to getting asked out a lot. They're not used to the real world. They haven't really been dating. Because high school dating is different from college dating which is different from real world dating and so on. There's different levels of dating and each have their own little ways.

Let's talk about how to ask a girl out in college.When you're with a girl that you like and you're interested in and you want to ask her out, try to get together with her and do something with her before you ask her out on a date.

There are plenty of options for you to do this in college. If this is a girl in your class, you guys can get together for a study date, you're not going go say date, but you can get together to do some studying or do homework or a project.

You can also invite her and her friends over for a party. Maybe before you guys go out to bars, at something that's going on, any kind of event. It doesn't have to be alcohol related although I know in college that's more of a common thing. Try to get together with her and spend time with her before you ask her out.

That's step one, getting her interested in you. In the real world you don't want to do that as much but that's ok in college because girls aren't used to going on dates so you don't necessarily want to go ask her out on a date right away. Ease your way into it. It's going to make her feel a lot more comfortable.

On to step two. By the second or third time, and I wouldn't wait any longer than this because then you will get dropped into the friend zone. Try to make it so you guys are alone. This can be a study date or you get coffee. Just you two talking and you're separated from the group.

That's when you want to ask her out on a date. Say "Hey you know what, you and I should go to dinner sometime. We should go on a date and grab some dinner." My common advice I always say is you want to use the word "date".

Now she understands that you're asking her out. It's not the same thing as you guys casually hanging out anymore. She has to understand that this is now turning into what could be a dating relationship, a casual relationship. The idea of you saying I don't like you as a friend, I like you as something a lot more. Again, you want to use the word date.

Step three, where are you going to go? I'm usually very against dinner dates. In this case, I think this is a good idea because again, not a lot of women have been on a lot of dates in college. This is when they're first getting introduced to the dating scene, or I should say pre-dating scene because it's different from the real world.

Try to get her out on a dinner date and make it so it's a little bit fancy. Not super fancy, you're not taking her to fast food. Take her somewhere where you guys can sit down and order a meal. It doesn't have to be super fancy, but a little bit above average.

She's going to feel like she's on a date if you're taking her out to dinner. And that's the game plan right there. That's what I want you to do. And of course make sure throughout the whole date that you're very chivalrous, you're opening the door for her, things like that. Make her feel like she's being taken care of.
