To be a princess is to live a dream come true. It’s not just about royalty, marrying a prince, learning manners and wearing sparkly dresses. True princesses are innocent, loyal, noble and passionate; they always listen to their heart and let their beauty shine from within. Above all, a princess believes in her dreams, chases magic, spreads kindness and does her best to make the world a better place.

Some girls are born princesses and others become them, but we all start somewhere. Once upon a time in a faraway land there was a tender hearted Princess who lived in a rose-covered cottage nestled in the woods. A haven as beautiful, gentle and serene as morning’s first light, where dreams softly bloom and hope lives on forevermore. Every dawn, after awakening from her sweet slumber, the Princess placed a halo of baby rosebuds upon her golden curls and wandered through her secret garden in a flowing pink dress made by her fairy godmother. Under the dappled sunshine of her tiny kingdom she made everyday feel like a fairytale and was known throughout the land for her pure heart, soft like petals of a rose, and her graceful aura that could brighten even the darkest valley.

The Princess’s days were filled with jewellery making, harp playing, picking wildflowers, waltzing with woodland creatures and daydreaming in her storybook cottage with her beloved kitten companions. She endeavoured to become her own best friend and keep the promise written on her heart-shaped music box, “Be gentle with your tender blooming heart.” For all damsels must step outside their castle towers and unlock the key to their happily ever after. May our princess stories kindle your heart with faith, trust and loving-kindness. May you become the ruler of your own little fairytale and may all your dreams come true.
