This two-step rope braiding technique is quick and easy and looks super professional! Ropes like this can be used as belts, straps, drawstrings, etc. To increase the thickness of your rope, just add more strands (but always separate them into 4 groups to start). The first rope shown was made using 16 strands of Lion Brand's 24/7 Cotton yarn. The second rope was made using 8 strands of a yarn that is not available.
